AGE Annual Meeting

Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Aging Association

Each year the Center Director and at least one other senior Center member attend the Annual Meeting of the American Aging Association for meetings with National Institute of Aging staff and staff of other Centers.

The American Aging Association (AGE) is a national not-for-profit organization whose aims are:

  • To promote biomedical aging studies directed towards increasing the functional life span of humans with one goal being to slow the aging process.
  • To keep the public informed of the progress of aging research and of practical means of achieving a long and healthy life.
  • To increase knowledge of gerontology among physicians and others in the health fields.

The American Aging Association’s 42nd Annual Meeting will take place¬†May 31 – June 3, 2013 at Baltimore, MD
